Fundraising Ceilidh!

St Patrick’s Day Ceilidh

We will be holding a fundraising ceilidh on March 13th at 8pm!

Celebrate St Paddy’s Day in time-honoured tradition.  Dance the night away to ‘Hieland Tae’ and enjoy the usual liquid refreshments and a wee bite to eat as well.   You don’t need to know the dances in advance – we’ll teach you!  Come and help us brighten up a dreich Scottish springtime after a LONG Scottish winter and do some good for your local community at the same time.

YOUR VILLAGE NEEDS YOU!

  1. No matter what the future holds with regard to the McCosh Hall I think it is important that all our local groups/clubs etc. try to extend their membership to ensure their continued viability.

Would there be merit in KVR considering holding a Coffee Morning or something similar at which reps of local groups (eg Bowling Club, over 60s, Guild, Rural, Women’s Group etc) could be in attendance to advertise their organisation and hopefully recruit new members? The more local residents join together in various groups the better.

The success of the Burns Supper on 5 February clearly showed that a community spirit does exist and simply requires to be encouraged.
